HOW JOINT AID WORKS
Glucosamine and chondroitin are both natural components of the cartilage and synovial fluid. They are important for the lubrication and health of the joint. A healthy joint can resist compression from external wear and tear better.
WHAT THE RESEARCH SAYS
Osteoarthritis happens because of joint degeneration and a loss of joint cartilage. With increasing wear and tear, it gradually leads to degradation of the collagen and proteoglycan molecules. This causes synovial inflammation and therefore cartilage degradation[1]. There was evidence that glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin had shown effectiveness in the treatment of osteoarthritis which may result in joint stiffness and soreness[2,3].
